First let me say FG fabric is my favorite for pants.  And I adore the side zip cigarette leg.

The mid-weight fabric is so similar to the standard you probably wouldn't notice the difference at first.

I live in an all year cool climate so I actually prefer the heavier weight.  It also minimizes any lumps and bumps for a smoother look
