When I bought my first pair at a boutique I didn't realize this fabric was knitted until I used a strong magnifier to examine the weave. The fabric has a nice weight --not too thin-- and looks exactly like denim. The jeans are very comfortable and flattering and look perfect at the end of a long day. The length is excellent. I am 5'8". I have 3 colors so far and keep checking back for more options. Light or medium grey would be good.
